The Nexus Fund was founded to support local efforts to prevent genocide and mass atrocities around the world. We’re a team of organizers who have been working to address Dangerous Speech, or hate speech that can catalyze violence, since 2012.

Special note on our efforts with the Rohingya: One of our focus areas is partnering directly with individual activists and organizations to prevent further mass violence against the Rohingya people of Myanmar. As we have witnessed horrific increases in violence against them since August 25, 2017, we are working even harder to support the Rohingya. For more information, please email
